Mourinho back to Premier League as Spurs Manager

After Mauricio Pochettino was sacked from his position, Jose Mourinho has been appointed as Manager of Tottenham Hotspur.

“In José we have one of the most successful managers in football. He has a wealth of experience, can inspire teams and is a great tactician. He has won honours at every club he has coached. We believe he will bring energy and belief to the dressing room.” – said Daniel Levy, the chairman of Tottenham.

One of the most successful managers of all time, Mourinho has had the privilege of managing the top teams around the world including Manchester United, Chelsea, Internazionale and Porto.

“I am excited to be joining a club with such a great heritage and such passionate supporters,” said Mourinho after Hotspur signed him for a contract that will run until the end of the 2022-23 season.

Mourinho was named Portuguese Coach of the Century by the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) in 2015. He has 25 senior trophies as a manager, including a domestic title in a record four different countries. Jose has also won 2 Champions Trophy with Porto and Inter.
